Join OTIS

The Organization of Teratology Information Specialists (OTIS) is the professional scientific society made up of the experts that provide the MotherToBaby service, and the researchers that perform the MotherToBaby pregnancy studies.  Members of OTIS have a wide range of backgrounds and experience in the field of teratology (the study of birth defects caused by exposures during pregnancy). OTIS members include medical doctors, genetic counselors, nurses, researchers, and educators. OTIS encourages health care professionals and members of the general public with a special interest in teratology to join OTIS. Benefits of OTIS membership include reduced annual meeting fees, access to the members-only section of the website, and ability to serve on committees.
 
The OTIS membership year runs from January 1st through December 31st of each year. In order to qualify for reduced registration fees for the annual meeting in June, members must be paid in full for the year of the meeting.
